The LAB

Ladolcevita is a made-to-order pastry LAB, that means you won’t find a display case full of cakes ready to take away.

I create bespoke cakes and dessert tables on your requirements for your personal or company event.

The working space

All working surfaces are made in Silestone and stainless steel for their washability and ease of sterilization.

The stainless steel table is the place where I spent most of my time making, trying, assembling or simply defining all the last details before delivery.

Professional oven Mychef*

The professional oven is not only my best friend for baking, but it can also be washed with its own cleaning program so it is usable for all kind of products which shouldn’t be cross-contaminated.
The sterilization program is done every week and, if necessary, every time its needed.

Shop windows and entrance

Ladolcevita’s shop windows are decorated with a touch of color and personality. I like the graphic-illustrated style where images are composed by an apparent randomness and it expresses my past as an illustrator and designer.

This is also the area for packing cakes and stocking all packaging.

Gluten-Free area*

The LAB has a dedicated space only for the preparation of gluten-free products . I created this area because I want to be sure, myself and my customer, also that what I’m doing is free of contaminations. This area has its own mixer, ingredients and all the tools I need to work and they are exclusively used only for gluten-free products.

Memories space

I wanted to have a space where I could leave my important mementos from my past. A space which with a quick glance would produce a smile. Memories of people who are or were part of my life, memories from places and events that have determined who I am today. It is a corner full of colors and objects that remind me of tastes and scents from far away.

We are what we do and we evolve based on our experiences and these shelves are a representation of my life story.

Infrared light

I missed the help of this lamp in my last kitchen. Modelling chocolate, sugar paste, coconut oil are difficult as their physical state can change during the cold season, so they are not easy to work if not warmed properly. This lamp helps me to delicately warm these ingredients instead of working them with my hands.

When it was installed, it immediately became the centre of attention in the LAB. Its bronze color seems to light the space up even when it is off.

* Due to the food laws in Europe, we have to specified that the gluten-free area is not in an exclusive and separate space but in an open space.

Ladolcevita LAB is in Passatge Sant Antoni 10 - Sant Cugat del Vallés, very close to the train station.
